We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a love for purposeful work, thoughtful design, and real connection.

Rev. Daniel Paul

Senior Pastor

Rev. Daniel Paul is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After college, he worked as a real estate assessor in Ohio before serving for ten years as a camp director for the Boy Scouts of America in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Before pursuing ministry, Daniel was also active as a musician. He later attended seminary and graduated from the Graduate Theological Union at California State University, Berkeley, where he received the Wesley Singer Preaching Award.

Daniel served as Senior Pastor for 24 years at the Christian Church of Pacific Grove, California. In addition, he was the Spiritual Coordinator for Beacon House, a drug and alcohol inpatient rehabilitation center, for three years. He also served for 5 years on the Board of Directors of the Yakama Christian Mission in Washington.

Throughout his ministry, Daniel has been deeply committed to ecumenical and interfaith work. He served as president of the Monterey Peninsula Ministerial Association and as Director of the Blue Theology Mission Station.

Currently, he hosts a weekly lectionary text study with local mainline clergy and helps coordinate the Annual Huntsville St. Francis Blessing of the Pets and the Annual Prayer and Pie Service held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Rev. Crissie Fowler

I first found my church home at First Christian Church in 2000, during my freshman year at Sam Houston State

University. Introduced through the choir director, I was invited to join as a soprano intern in the choir. What

began as a simple connection through music soon grew into a lifelong place of belonging, service, and faith that has shaped who I am today.

For the past twenty years, I have also lived out my calling as an educator. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Academic Studies and my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics from

Sam Houston State University. Over the years, I have taught mathematics to grades 5–12, worked as a Secondary Mathematics Specialist with Region 6 Education Service Center, and now serve as an instructional coach for math and science educators.

My love for education flows naturally into my love for ministry. For the last two and a half years, I have been pursuing a Master of Divinity at Phillips Theological Seminary, exploring the many ways teaching and ministry overlap. Both ministry work and education center on walking alongside others, helping them grow, and celebrating the ways God is at work in our lives. I was commissioned on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Associate Pastor

Beth Ringwald

Beth Ringwald is a life-long resident of Conroe and a graduate Conroe High School

Education degree from Sam Houston State University and taught 5th & 6th grade General Music and Choir for 23 years in Conroe ISD. Beth enjoys singing in the Montgomery County Choral Society which presents 4 concerts a year as well as singing at several community events.

Music Ministry has been an important part of Beth’s life since she was in 9th grade and began playing piano and a small Hammond spinet organ at First Christian Church in Conroe. During her college years she continued involvement in music ministry as a choir intern at FCC Huntsville. Since that time she has been a choir member, bell choir member, choir & bell choir librarian, pianist, organist and assistant choir director at several churches.

Beth is so happy to be serving as director of the choir and handbells at FCCH and sharing the joy of praising God through music with the congregation.
