Find Your People

At First Christian Church, we love building community! Our social groups are a great way to connect with others, make new friends, grow in faith, and enjoy shared interests in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you’re looking for creativity, fellowship, encouragement, or gentle exercise, there’s a group for you. All are welcome—no matter your age, skill level, or background.

What We Offer

For more information about our groups, please contact the church office.

  • Share fellowship and creativity with others in our welcoming crochet circle. Learn from experienced crocheters and knitters. Beginners always welcome. Meets each week on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Adult Study 1 Room.

  • A space for men to connect, grow, and support one another in faith. This group meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month in Clark Hall at 8:30 AM. They always find tasks to complete around the church and in the community and we appreciate them so much!

  • Express your creativity and enjoy fellowship in a relaxed art studio setting. We have supplies for mixed media, ceramics, watercolor, pastel, ink, collage, color theory and plein art painting. This group meets every Tuesday at 6:00 PM.

  • Join gentle Pilates sessions designed for all ability levels to nurture body and spirit. Improve your mobility, strength, and balance. Join us every Monday and Thursday at 11:00 AM in Clark Hall.

  • Come together to sew, craft, and build friendships. This group meets every Tuesday at 9:30 AM in Clark Hall and does sewing, quilting, embroidery and more. This group is one of three groups that founded the annual Huntsville Quilt Stroll in October and is a mixture of members from the church and community.

  • Socialize and build community with other singles in a friendly, supportive environment. Don’t eat alone! On the first Tuesday of each month the group meets at a different local restaurant at 6:00 PM. Contact the church office if you would like to know where they are meeting!

  • A vibrant group focused on encouragement, and community service. This is a ministry that provides meals for the sick, help with community needs, and plans special events to promote fellowship.

  • "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
